Lavender Honey Soap
Stoneleigh
Farms offers only its Reserve
honey for sale. The remainder of our crop becomes
the finest Lavender
Honey Soap ever laid upon a palm. The number
one ingredient is honey. Potassium hydroxide, glycerin,
olive, vitamin E, and lavender oils make up the balance
of this natural, all-vegetable, liquid, antibacterial
soap. It contains no water.
Why
No Water
Most liquid soaps contain 25% or more of purified
or other water. Our Lavender
Honey Soap contains no water. The difference
may surprise you. Honey and lavender are two antibacterial
products found in nature. Nurse bees in the brood
nest feed honey to the young larvae, but they first
dilute the honey with water causing it to release
small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. This maintains
a healthy, sterile environment for the developing
young bees. The antibacterial qualities of our Lavender
Honey Soap are derived from millions of years
of evolution in the honeybee colony. The antibacterial
quality does not diminish with frequent use, as may
be the case with common commercial soaps.
Just
Add Water
Rinse the hands and leave a small puddle of warm water
in the palm, add a small amount of soap and rub hands
together to release the suspended power of the honey
and oils to form a medium lather, washing away dirt
and germs in 12-15 seconds, leaving the hands soft,
clean, and smelling of lavender. It makes a delightful
body wash as well but please avoid the eyes. This
is not a fragrance. It is lavender oil. It
comes packaged in long lasting 16 ounce plastic pump
bottles.
