Stoneleigh Reserve

Our Stoneleigh Reserve is a premium, all natural, local honey. Selected for its distinctive character, it is never heated or spiked with added flavors. Lightly filtered, it never darkens or crystallizes, and its delicate, distinctive flavor enhances fine cheeses, especially blues, or soft cheeses, such as goat cheese. A personal favorite is "Red Dragon" with its crisp tangy, mustard seeds. It makes an unrivaled topping for breakfast breads and dressing for fruit salads. It will not spoil and never needs refrigeration.
Raw, unheated, local honey like our Stoneleigh Reserve contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes in the pollen and antioxidants. Pasteurizing honey destroys pollen and removes the benefit of lessening pollen allergies that many have come to appreciate from eating local or regional honey. Our Stoneleigh Reserve contains everything the bees put in it.
The Stoneleigh Reserve, packaged in twelve, twenty-four, and forty-eight ounce jars by weight, awaits you in containers made of recycled glass with large mouths and capped with fine cork tops. These jars match the quality of the honey, and they remain functional in the kitchen long after the honey is gone.
Buy your Stoneleigh Reserve while it lasts. Everything else on the shelf is just sweet.
Lavender Honey Soap
Stoneleigh
Farms offers only its Reserve
honey for sale. The remainder of our crop becomes
the finest Lavender
Honey Soap ever laid upon a palm. The number
one ingredient is honey. Potassium hydroxide, glycerin,
olive, vitamin E, and lavender oils make up the balance
of this natural, all-vegetable, liquid, antibacterial
soap. It contains no water.
Why
No Water
Most liquid soaps contain 25% or more of purified
or other water. Our Lavender
Honey Soap contains no water. The difference
may surprise you. Honey and lavender are two antibacterial
products found in nature. Nurse bees in the brood
nest feed honey to the young larvae, but they first
dilute the honey with water causing it to release
small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. This maintains
a healthy, sterile environment for the developing
young bees. The antibacterial qualities of our Lavender
Honey Soap are derived from millions of years
of evolution in the honeybee colony. The antibacterial
quality does not diminish with frequent use, as may
be the case with common commercial soaps.
Just
Add Water
Rinse the hands and leave a small puddle of warm water
in the palm, add a small amount of soap and rub hands
together to release the suspended power of the honey
and oils to form a medium lather, washing away dirt
and germs in 12-15 seconds, leaving the hands soft,
clean, and smelling of lavender. It makes a delightful
body wash as well but please avoid the eyes. This
is not a fragrance. It is lavender oil. It
comes packaged in long lasting 16 ounce plastic pump
bottles.
Lavender
Honey Shampoo
The
Natural Conditioner
We add purified water to our Lavender Honey Shampoo
during processing to release the stored hydrogen peroxide
from the honey making it safe to use on even tinted
and colored hair. Honey is a natural conditioner and
it leaves no oily film build up allowing frequent
use. Try it and see for yourself. Offered in 16 ounce
bottles only.
